How many of them died?

Funny how once they quit using the fake numbers of 2-5%, they only talk about cases instead of mortality rate.

This is idiotic at this point. If you get sick, get treatment. If you are severely at risk, take precautions (vaccines and masks or whatever you need to do). If you aren't sick, go about your day.

You simply aren't scared enough. You need to allow your life to be governed by fear more than what you are. What if I told you that the virus was standing right behind you with a scary mask on? Would you be more afraid then?

People waiting too long to get boosters is putting us in a resurgence, but diminished symptoms for the new variant and lessened impact for the vaccinated mitigate any repeat of the worst part of the pandemic. I suspect we'll see some cancellations of ballgames but much less significant sequelae to those affected by the virus.

Are you giving credit for the new strains being less deadly to the vaccine?

Because that is just natural selection at work and it has nothing to do with the vaccine.

I think we might’ve had a pretty good run in 2020 and I had Final Four tickets

I actually felt so bad for Anthony Grant.

I think that was his year (or at least his to lose) with Dayton.

It'll be over after the politicians have paid off the big pharma companies they work for.

No surprise they are pulling in record profits.

I am not concerned. I have faith in God and a decent immune system. I pray for the athletes and fans who gather to watch the games.

Why? I can test positive for covid-1984 just as easily without the shots as with the shots. All NFL players have their shots and look where they are.

The omigod variant is being reported by US doctors as having mild symptoms. It shouldn’t keep fans away from any sporting events.

Nothing more than a severe flu. Sure, go get your vax if you want to, but stopping anything in life right now over covid makes zero sense.

If this is affecting vaccinated players, then there doesn't seem to be an impetus to stop some sort of impact.

I doubt (at this point, at least) that anything major will be cancelled or postponed, but if college eventually mirrors what the NFL and NBA are doing, I'm actually more concerned about players being forced to miss games due to positive tests.

Don't care. They seem to think, by not playing, they're somehow "making a statement".

My statement in reply is "don't give a shite".
