Florida dominated LSU.

UGA got 14 points directly from JL's bad passes...which was the difference. People ignore the fact that LSU gained 500 yards and basically outplayed UGA in the box score. Lee made 3 turnovers that was clearly the difference.

We have a better offense and our QB has 3 turnovers on the year (2 ints and a lost fumble).

Florida exposes georgias WEAK defense and wins by at least 2 touchdowns.

UGA's defense is shite.

Florida's offense is great, and their defense is pretty good.

This one's easy. Florida wins big.

UF 51
UGA 21

Why not?

Florida is the best team in the sec by far. having played both GA and florida, it would be florida that I would not like to see us play again. UF will toast GA

1st of all I agree that Fla. rolls. That being said this is an emotional rivalry game with a lot at stake. If Fla comes out as it did against LSU...game over. I hope that is the case.

If the talent is about equal and the site is neutral, I'll give the nod to the better coach.

Florida wins.

Georgia 42, Florida 28.

Whole lot of people here being fooled by that Demps/Rainey stuff.

Demps/Rainey didn't do anything against LSU until Florida's 6th possession, the last possession of the half, with Florida already up 17-0. By that point, LSU's defense had been on the field the whole half with all the momentum going against them.

Trindon Holliday had 3 carries for 3 yards against Georgia. That shotgun sweep to small backs stuff will not work against our run defense (still 6th nationally, even after a great game by Scott). Demps/Rainey are no threat to run up the middle, especially with Ellerbe back, so Curran/Dent/Gamble will just sit on the corners.

Florida will ditch this stuff really fast and just go to the Harvin/Tebow smash they always go right back to against good defenses. That's good for some big plays and some points, but Florida will still not be able to stop Moreno/Southerland/Stafford/Green/Massaquoi.

Meyer is in the middle of his 4th season in the SEC. His record is exactly the same as Richt's was at the same point.

How do you explain that?

Less than Larry Coker, Jim Tressel, and Bob Stoops, but one season does not a coach make. Those guys were all fantastic, but hell, Stoops is now considered a big game choke. I take Richt over those guys, and would take him over Meyer for that matter. That question is always a time relevant one.

I am not super enthused about this one. At this point, the Ole Miss loss was the best thing that could have happened to the Turds. If Stafford doesnt play like he did this past Saturday, and our defense doesnt man up against the run, it will be a long day. I predict UGA 45-38, but I wont be surprised if the Turds have a big day and reverse that and maybe more.

In Stafford and co I trust.

My wife is due the day of the SEC championship game, all of the Florida people in my office are trying to sell me on pulling for them to avoid a showdown with my wife over going to the game. Err, no way in hell.

13-1 and SEC Champ in his second season. Mark Richt did as much to put his team in an NC in 2002 as Meyer did his team in 2006, he just wasn't as lucky in regards to other teams around the nation.

Hell, Tubbs went 14-0 and got no trophy.

I want to say Florida....not only because of the revenge factor but also because i think that Tebow is actually healthy for this game...last season it looked like he just couldnt avoid the rush vs georgia like he did all year...and really that game wasnt a blowout like UGA fans all claim...it was 30-35 and that horrid florida "D" couldnt stop Moreno last season....that said...UF 52-38..HAHA
