20 years ago LSU was 4-7 and Tennessee won a national title. A decade prior to that LSU won the SEC, and 10 years ago LSU won a national title. If you can’t see that a lot can change over 20 years of time (or even 10 years) and that viewing a program in a 3 year lens is ignorant, I’m not sure what else to tell you. Trends can go right back up just as easily as they can trend down. It’s all cyclical and those programs have shown what they’re capable of during upward cycles.

Some programs are capable, and it's not necessarily about money like you wish it was.
LSU was suffering thru the tail end of the Dinardo era in '99, and in 4 years, hoisted the crystal. Meanwhile, you clowns were irrelevant back then in the big 12, and are now irrelevant in the sec, and can't beat the team you're doubting even with a Heisman QB and an alleged great offense.
