Correct, and they will be a top 5 national defense. I never said Arkansas' defense would be better than anyone else's, just that it would be good.

Uhhhh, when you finished in the 80's the year before I think 36th is an acceptable improvement. No?

When you rank in the top 10 in offense, 36th overall in defense is very good.

You do understand that we had a coaching change just a few short years ago, correct?
How was Bama doing prior to Saban's arrival in Tuscaloosla?
Now ask an Old Myth fan how they are liking their head coach after the exact same amount of years with theirs as we have had with ours - two programs headed in totally different directions.
Maybe now that we have an actual football coach who expects to win and not just win occasionally are expectations have changed and outsiders perceptions of Arkansas has changed as well.
A stronger Arkansas does nothing but make an already great conference even better!

I actually think Arkansas has a shot at winning the SEC this year. I wish that didn't sting so much to type.

Defense was still solid before Saban even arrived. He just made it even better. Offense was the problem. Shula couldn't recruit skill players and the strength program was awful in developing linemen.

I found that as a personal favorite as well. Lets not forget about Dennis Johnson returning kicks again this year.
So many weapons and mostly all Arkansas boys as well.
