I'll answer your question and honestly too. The immigrant population in Alabama doesn't tend to be American football fans but the ones that are usually like to wear Bama stuff(shirts, hats, stickers on hard hats etc..). I am a contractor and I have jobs on multiple construction sites. There is a large percentage of immigrants working on construction sites in various trades. I have engaged some of them and some are real fans, and some more or less do it to fit in. Which makes sense if you think about it. You are from another country and you look around and see others wearing this kind of stuff, and you wish to establish business connections and a life here. What better way than to mimic their customs and traditions?

I’ve lived in TX all my life and that’s def not the case. Aggies are more of a cult. Always little man syndrome to big brother. Random people don’t support them though.
