I've never understood the fascination with bench press numbers, especially from a pro athlete.

Plenty of guys skyrocket up draft boards because of great combine numbers.

Speed is a good thing but bench numbers are useless and have been for a long time. Bench press numbers are great for the meat heads to talk about while they sit and look in the mirror while the real men are out there doing the work. Don't get me wrong big numbers can help but unless it is drastically up or down the numbers won't help a player that much.

We all feel enlightened. Your good deed is done, Captain Obvious.

Why is that?
You're allowed to joke around about various things Auburn, but an Auburn fan isn't with Alabama?

Because we are Alabama...and we're better than you.

He's said he's going to do interviews and blow up the bench press.

Sadly, some (and I stress some, not all) in your fanbase actually believe this...

Look. If you rooted for a team with 112 national championships, you could be entitled also.

Those people are arse holes. I know I'm a better person than you because I root for Alabama......but I'll still be your friend.

You are an idiot if you really believe this. It is Trent's upper body strength that allows him to literally swat defenders off of him with little effort while his legs do the motivating. Otherwise, RB's have to use their legs to push through defenders and therefore affect their speed and direction.
Benchpress numbers directly correlate with upper body strength. Therefore your heinous statement will be stricken from the record.
