Definitely this year's NC followed closely by Kick Six.
The 2010 IB doesn't even register anywhere close to the top for me as NCs (and near threepeat stopped by Kick Six) are far more important to me. We weren't playing for anything in 2010 at that point except the Iron Bowl itself. Still was a sucky loss though especially the roller coaster of emotions watching Ingram go from likely TD to his long awkward trip resulting in a turnover.

This. There really aren't words to describe it. Granted 2013 felt like a team of destiny just like I felt the Falcons were but not even close.

- Sunday night
- 2012 NFC Championship
- Kick Six
- Camback
- 2008 SEC Championship
- 2005 LSU
- The Hawks 2015 season ending in a sweep to Cleveland
- 1991 World Series FVCK YOU KENT HRBEK
- 1996 World Series Game 4 FVCK YOU JIM LEYRTIZ
- 2010 NLDS - The Brooks Conrad Series
- 2013 Game 4 NLDS FVCK YOU FREDI GONZALEZ
This year's title game sucked but for whatever reason it just didn't tear me up nearly as much as these other ones did.

What about Eric Gregg's infamous strike zone in game 5 of the 97 NLCS?

That wasn't soul crushing that just made me want to literally murder that fat bastard.
I mean, I could make a book of soul crushing losses by the Braves.

As a Saints fan, 2011 vs SF was freaking brutal.
It was so bad that until you mentioned it, I had not seen the replay since that day 6 yeas ago. If ever there was a justification for a true prevent defense, it was that drive. How Jenkins allows Vernon Davis to get past him sill baffles me as does Roman Harper whiffing on the tackle. We had those guys and I think they were out of TO's or had like one left. All that had to happen on that play was to tackle Vernon Davis the second he caught the ball in bounds an the game would have been essentially over and the NFC Championship game would have been in the Dome. Eli would have been our biotch there.

That was also the same week as 21-0.

You get over a 21-0 thumping as a fan easier than watching a victory escape from you....and it's pretty much your team's fault.
That Saint offense that year was incredibly good. Brees & Co could pretty much score at will with Graham, Colston, Thomas and Sproles. They could lay 45 pts on a team, with a good defense, with ease. The defense under Gregg Williams was not bad either
1/9/12 is #2 though. If LSU had won that game, they might have been considered one of the best teams in the last 60-70 years of college football. Beat the Rose Bowl Champ, beat the Orange Bowl Champ...beat the national champion. Defeated more Top 5 teams than any other team in recent history.....then laid a goose egg at the coronation

Yeah most Saints fans have told me that the 2011 team was even better than the 09 SB team.

Yeah and you've also seen Alabama win a bajillion titles.

Yea - but only one undefeated season. And losing the national title on the last play of the game stings no matter how many you've won. But, I dunno, it just felt like they won the game, we didn't lose it.

Did you not see the others I put down? This years was bad bc I'm sick of losing to UGA. Ive seen some mediocre to bad UGA teams beat some good AU teams. And not getting a first down in a half is pretty fricking soul crushing.

2014 loss to Bama was tough to take. Really the first quarter and half did us in. We were down 19-3 early and closed the gap to lose 25-20. Win that game and we are
SEC West Champs regardless of what happens in the Egg Bowl. We would have still had a chance at a Natty. Credit to Bama for punching us in the mouth early on. We did not handle that well. Once we settled down, we played good football for the most (3 INT's were a killer) part but just had too far of a hill to climb. Blake Sims won that game for Bama that day w/3 crucial third down conversions on their TD drive in the 4th quarter. He was very under rated IMO. Otherwise, I think State wins that game 20-19. We had the MO in the second half, just ran out of time.

'75 vs. Arkansas. A&M entered the game 10-0, ranked #2. A&M had just beaten Texas after 7 straight Texas wins in what was traditionally the last game of the year for both teams. TV forced a schedule change. Huge emotional win against Texas for the Aggies. Maybe too huge. Arkansas spanked 'em 31-6. This was my freshman year, so I had started taking it for granted that A&M would win them all. Nope! I believe this is as close as A&M has come to sniffing a national championship since '39 and after '75.

2007 Sweet 16 vs Ohio State (lost 85-84 on a blocked layup at the buzzer after blowing huge lead)
2010 Elite 8 vs Michigan State (lost 72-71 after missing a free throw on the other end)
2014 Sweet 16 vs Michigan (lost 71-70 and couldn't cap off incredible comeback. Had ball with chance to win and Jarnell Stokes was called for a bogus charge)
All one point losses to Big Ten teams in the second weekend of the tourney recently. The Ohio State game probably hurt the most to me.

Florida vs UConn in the 2014 Final Four. I loved watching that team the whole season. Overachieved to the max. They set all kinds of school records. Won 30 straight games, went 18-0 in league play, finished 36-3, and had the SEC POTY without a single draft pick on the roster. By far Billy Donovan's best coaching job.
I wasn't even mad we lost; more hurt for the players and sad I wouldn't get to watch that team play together again.
