It's lined up outside and on Defense. It's not around him protecting him. Our oline coaching has been pathetic.

Who needs an O Line when you have the best wide recievers in the history of football.

He was 17/24 for 291 3 TDs and 0 picks. I was very critical of McElroy for a while, even when he played well against LSU I thought he gave away points, but this is getting absurd.

Of course I thought LSU had by far the best wide receiver core in the SEC?

But, but , but...
Lol, the OL was horrible this year. If not for them JJ would be up for the heisman!!

What about McElroys heisman performances this year against Chattanooga and South Carolina?

Name a group of WR in SEC better.

It all boils down to coaching.

McEroy could throw for Keenum type numbers and never get any credit because he is an Alabama QB....

And for the record, memphis is is growing into a little bitch of the board.

I think we will have one of the best WR cores in the SEC next year, we bring back everyone.

Julio
Maze
Hanks
Bowman
Norwood
Gibson
Allen

No then he would be a good/consistent QB

He has done nothing to impress me, in fact many of you gumps were calling for a switch by halftime of the LSU game.

There really is no middle ground in these arguments. Most of the Bama fans here say that our players are all better than everyone else's. LSU and Auburn fans respond by telling them that they are wrong and our players suck, are overrated, or are average at best, thus explaining the 25-2 record the past two seasons. Everyone is wrong, but our fans are too arrogant to admit it and theirs are too stupid and bitter to admit it.

manages the game well..but really wasn't asked to do a whole lot...next year will be alot more telling especially when he doesn't have a top tier D shutting the opponent down

He may not have been asked to do much but he sure as hell checked into the correct plays while carving up the country's no 1 D

I think he's pretty good. I do however feel he benefits greatly from the talent around him.

What QB doesn't?

I betcha McElroy knows not to spike the ball with 1 second on the clock.
