What's gotten into the MSU fans?

They've been so optimistic and perhaps even haughty about what they refer to as "their upcoming 10 win season". The Dawgs are coming off a 9-4 season where they couldn't even beat an "on-probation" Ole Miss team at home and nearly got beat by the least-talented Arkansas team in the modern-era. They are also breaking in a new coach, playing UF (the most dominant program in the East over the last 15 years), and playing sneaky tough road games at Kentucky and Kansas State. Why the sense of optimism?

I honestly believe 37-7 ruined them (thanks coach O).
To think most LSU fans always considered them to be the lovable losers who were down to earth and not anything like the petulant posers from the school up north.
Reality will hit them soon enough. It always does.

That week was fun. LSU fans could not stop shite talking MSU. Most of the rant including me was confused why LSU was down to trash talking Mississippi State. But then we soon found out why.

LSU fans will never respect any team that still has not passed up Tulane in SEC Titles (They have 3). They left the SEC in the 1960's. Think about that.

They aren't gonna do shite. States best teams are average teams at LSU. They're state, let's not sugarcoat it.

We defeated you in basically every sport. 1-0 in Women's Basketball, 1-0 in Men's Basketball, 3-0 in Baseball, and 1-0 in football.
And yes you got further than Mississippi State because you waited until the National Championship Series to lose to Oregon State. Congratulations. But don't discount us actually winning a bowl game and making the WFF either.
Trust me. I'd be worried about Mississippi State too if I went 0-6 against them last year as well.

Why's that? Arkansas is still an all time top 25 program in wins. Mississippi State has an all time losing record. We're ahead 16-11-1 in head to head matchups. Also, Hog call > cowbells.

That’s great. Or it was in the past. Our athletic department is currently better all around than yours right now. You know, in the present where most of us live.
