Whatever happened to Ronald Powell?

#1 Player from the class of... 08? 09? He signed with Florida, but after that, I can't remember hearing anything else about him.

Powell played for 1 year. Not sure how you can label him a bust. He still has 2 years left to play.

I believe he is looking at busts through his eyes as a Vol fan. Their football program has been walking aimlessly in the desert for many years with many a lot of busts, and looking for any drop of water available to bring relief. In some strange way Powell is that drop of water for this guy. I could be wrong, but sounds legit...

he played for 2 full seasons. for the record, it was UF fans that told me Powell was very underwhelming, not me.
when you have triple 1,1,1 rankings on rivals you should perform at least close to Clowney.

they got very very lucky against ULM. and against Utah State a year before.

Btw, Powell seems to have been coming on and tore his ACL before last season, and then tore it again rehabbing it in the fall. He should be ready to play when the creamsicles come to Hogtown.

He tore his ACL in the bowl game against OSU in 2012. He's been rehabbing since.
