Chad was absolutely loathed by the players at Arkansas. They gave zero effort for him.

He’s as fake as they come. Good luck.

He should be fine if Gus can keep tape over his mouth.

Harry, have you heard Arkansas is the Auburn Football Tigers Super Bowl?

Sounds like they can’t get it up and are out of Viagra .

Garrison pls

Arkansas is desperate for us to be their rival and collectively spends like 75% of the school energy on Auburn

Don't encourage their infatuation with us

It will be interesting to see how the Auburn players take to Chad's coaching/teaching/training. I don't think Gus puts up with any shite on his staff or in the locker room.

I'm not defending them and Arkansas has more problems than meddlers. All schools have them and some are worse than others. They aren't the only ones to blame. The bigger problem is expectations. Who are we and what are our goals? Do we strive hiring and firing Chad morris coaches every two years or do we stop the trend and try to build from the ashes? The situation is bleak and Sam Pittman is a screw it hire because no one is going to take a job that was nuked.

Yes you hire an AD to do a job but like head coaches, they are politicians. An AD has to play the game and get a long with figures that influence a major university.

No they shouldn't be told how to do a job but he isn't the one who has the money either. Both parties have to negotiate an agreement on the candidate. An AD can put the foot down but eventually he has to find middle ground or they will find a way to fire you.

That was Frank's fault and should have said no. But like I said you have to come to terms and both have to agree.

Many Auburn fans think Gus will finally let go of the offense now that he has his best and most trusted friend running the O.

I think most of us are hoping for this. It's hard to run a program and run an offense as well.

Yet he talked your AD into letting him be the OC last year.

Gus has them by the balls with that contract and HE calls the shots with his team. He's a good coach, he runs a clean program and that obviously means a lot at AU or they'd have canned him ages ago for consistently losing 3-4 games a yr.

I'll say the same thing I said 3 months into his tenure. He wasn't 100% committed and invested in being successful at Arkansas. It proved out when he was more interested in his son's performance that he was whoever was playing QB for us. His staff saw it and his players saw it. Both decided if coach don't give a F, then why should I. It showed.

The coach was on a losing end at that point so he must've not care any more.

I don't know a bout that because Chad believed he was full tilt boogie. He was in denial until the bitter end.

He just didn't know what he was doing. What is worse is that he was trying the whole time.

Agree. I feel like Chad gave it his all, he’s just a terrible coach.

Great at the High School level. Maybe decent as an OC. The drizzling shits as an SEC head coach.

Gerry Faust, by any standards, was a high school coaching god back in the day. His teams won 4 "national" championships. The man was an honest to goodness legend.

He went 30-26-1 at Notre Dame when Notre Dame was still a national power.

Not every coach is cut out to be the head man at the top level. Maybe Pittman isn't. But we know for damn sure that Chad Morris isn't.

Harry Rex knows of what he speaks regarding the shenanigans of the GOBN at Arkansas. Country boys who stumbled into money. It is akin to having 5-6 Jethro Bodine's running the show. Stumbled into money and moved to the big city.

The difference now is that Pittboss is actually a football coach....and other coaches know this. Attracting KB and Odom is a good thing. I gave up my season tickets and I'm chasing Redfish and Tarpon in FL nowadays...but I'll at least watch the games while PIttman is the coach.

How's recruiting going? That is needed to improve overall ranking. Missouri need to do the same.
