That it took him five years to do it. To that I'd say that it's impressive that he stuck around in Starkville and was determined to build a program under the toughest conditions.

No it isn't. The rules are different for the power 6 than for the lower tier teams.

Your point is no one is going to respect Mullen for winning because the argument will just be the highly ranked teams he beat did not deserve those rankings. Well, news flash, they didnt. With that said, State still looked impressive in their victories and everyone seems to realize they are a good team. Do you have enough self validation now? Of course I am probably wasting my time explaining this to an alter.
