Here's the lucky excuse being brought up again.

Most GSU fans love UGA, that's not it.

I've found that to be pretty split as well. There's the lifelong UGA fan crowd, but there's also the crowd that resents everything about UGA.

And you know what Miles record is in that same time frame? 33-7. You're right! Miles is MUCH better than Richt!

Except you're forgetting the fact he won the SEC Championship and played for a national title, but we all know UGA fans like to forget about championships and all...

Ummmm...you DO realize that LSU's record is 1-2 in bowl games in that same time frame, do you not?

Yes, I do. 1 of those losses was playing for a national title though after winning the SEC Championship. A little easier to excuse that one than say getting owned by the Big Ten in the toilet bowl.

Oh. You WENT to LSU. So that makes you a tiger?

I was a LSU fan longer than you've been alive. I followed LSU football when Tommy Casanova was playing. When I was a kid I went to the dentist office on Saturday's when the office was closed and listened to LSU football on the radio while the dentist worked on my teeth. My family was friends with George Rice. (You'll have to look him up, I'm sure)

There's the "we love UGA" crowd because their family loves UGA then the "I dont understand why you love UGA because you go to GSU" crowd. There's more UGA lovers though, easily. They used to constantly announce score updates of UGA games during GSU games and the cheers would always be louder if UGA was winning or scored vs. losing or the other team scored.

Nononono. You are better than that. You demand wins. YOU demand Titles! Why hasn't Miles been fired?

You mean...like being owned by an ACC team in a Toilet Bowl? Like that? Give it up, man....

Ummm, yes? Not sure what you're trying to get at here.

You being older means nothing. I actually went to school there, did you?

Did you already forget we won the SEC Championship that year?

Yeah, easier to excuse losing the national title game when you;ve already WON the SEC championship than say excuse losing to a Big Ten team in a toilet bowl after not even coming close to sniffing winning your own division.

Did you go to GSU, also? (Putting my trolling aside here) I used to love the GSU teams. Man, they were machines! NOBODY could stop that offense. Tracy Ham, etc. Were you there to see their championship teams? I would catch them on TV when they were on. Usually they were not on where I could except for the playoffs.

Hey, man...I've been yanking your chain. No offense. I realize LSU is a great program. I DO tend to get a little defensive about Richt, though! (Not sure if you noticed that)

LSU and Alabama EASILY had the two best teams in the country. I know LSU fans really felt it unfair to have to play Alabama twice...but, in my opinion y'all were the two best teams. And, frankly, I wanted to see the two best teams play for the National Championship.

My brother is still a HUGE LSU fan. Wears these stinking purple and gold lounge pants while watching them on TV!

Yes I went to GSU also. Was a different experience being in a small town but that school is truly exploding. Can't believe what's become from what I saw back in the early 2000's vs. what it is now and can only imagine where it will be in another decade.

Unfortunately I was there to see a miserable Chris Hatcher season and some always good but frustrating ends to Monken seasons.

It's a shame. I thought for sure they would ALWAYS be good. They seemed to always get players that fit their system, and it seemed like NOBODY could stop them. Their defense seemed to lack a bit to be desired, but that "O"!

See? now I am feeling bad for trolling you so hard! I'm sorry, man! I get carried away sometimes. If I find a really passionate fan, I can't help myself. I hope there are no hard feelings!

I trolled Parkjas from Auburn so hard one tiem he STILL won't speak civilly to me! He absolutely hates my guts!

I think you're right!

No lie..as a kid, my parents used to take us out to LSU and see Mike the Tiger! They bought my brothers and I gold sweaters with purple felt LSU letters on them!

Wre couldn't afford to go to the football games, but my cousin, who knew a lot of the players bought us tickets when we were in high school and we saw LSU play Alabama in Tiger stadium back in.....1973, I think it was.

Here I am a Georgia fan, and I have only been to two college football games as a spectator. LSU and Georgia Tech of all schools!

Richt would have to go 4-8 with a loss to Ga Tech.

Miles and Richt are a lot similar to each other, IMO. Both underachieve (Let's be honest here) and both have had teams shite the bed when had higher expectations. Sure there are some legit excuses, but you'd be hard pressed not finding these teams with 10 wins and ranked to end the season.

Both go as far as their DC or OC let's them. Defense has always been a strong point for LSU, so if the offense is there, they're dangerous. UGA seems to always have that good RB and good QB, so if they get a Defense we can be dangerous. Unfortunately, Richt hasn't had the right DC in 8 years. Maybe Pruitt is it, God we hope so.
