Wow. You got me. Seems he beats Miles quite often, though.

you keep using "quite often" showing you clearly dont understand what this means. Miles at LSU and Richt at UGA have gone h2h just 5 times in 9 years. Richt holds a whopping 1 game advantage.

Why don't you look up what Richt has done against LSU in his tenure, instead of cherry picking years? Then get back to me about how he can't beat elite coaching, k?

Miles is a championship coach. 2 SEC Championships, 1 National Title in 2 national title game appearances.

Richt is living off an SEC Championship from damn near a decade ago and that's it. What has he done since? Oh wait, he's beat LSU a whopping 2 times and Hawai'i! Let's talk about that!

Richt has lost 3 of last 4 bowl games and none of them were even BCS bowls.

Averaging almost 10 wins a year and a 2-1 BCS record isn't average.

And Miles one title was one he backed into. Something Richt hasn't had the luck to do

Always love this excuse from the puppie dawgs. Everyone else just lucky to play and win national titles, UGA just doesn't get the same luck!

Sorry you've had to endure every season since 2005 where the pinnacle was beating Hawai'i

You lost to Kentucky and Arkansas and needed WVU to lose to Pitt.

Most teams who play for a national title need several things to happen for them to play for a national title. Fact is we played for two and won one recently. UGA ahs never even played for one under Richt, nor even won the SEC in almost a decade. How do you guys live in mediocrity and never go after him is insane to me.

It has been 7 years since Les won one and isn't going to sniff one in the near future, how long before he is on the hot seat.

You keep talking shite, worry about your own coach. At least our coach doesn't embarrass himself eating frigging grass or it coming out that one of his players failed 7 drug tests or letting the team vote on whether a player is kicked off the team so he can not look like the band guy.

Bama,
You may now thank Killz for this thread... it's keeping the LSU fans from talking about schedules for a while...

retirement or pulling a petrino are about the only situations in which I see him ever leaving UGA

We've actually gone just 2 seasons since last seeing our last SEC Championship in which we also played for a national championship. Not 3 seasons, 5 seasons or 8 seasons like UGA fans have had to fiddle around their thumbs watching themselves win nothing of note.

And you damn well believe LSU fans will start putting Miles on the hot seat if he doesn't win another SEC championship in the next few years because that's the expectations we set for ourselves, after all we aren't "Next Year U".

You're right, he's totally nice guy! Let's just ignore the fact he hasn't won you any sort of title the last 8 seasons.

Ok. Let me make it more clear for you then. Mark Richt is 4-4 against LSU. yet you want to claim he cannot beat elite coaches. So, tell me. Can Richt beat elite coaches, or perhaps LSU does not have elite coaching?

This can't be right. Or perhaps Miles is not an elite coach? maybe that is what you are saying.

Again you are either dishonest or simply do not know SEC Football. Richt has won 2 SEC Championships...same as Miles. AND, Richt has beaten Miles more than Miles has beaten Richt. The ONLY place Miles has the upper hand, is in winning a National Championship. No small feat, for sure. But many would say he won it with Saban's players.

Hey. Look. I have no problem with Miles. but YOU are the one that said Richt could not beat elite coaches. Is Miles an elite coach.....or not?

Richt will appear to gracefully retire from Georgia one of these days but he will be secretly shoved out by the University. Mark Richt doesn't want to go anywhere. Hes got a sweet gig at Georgia. No expectations to win championships. Just win ten games and choke on the big ones.

Anyone who truly thinks that, and not just for trolling purposes, doesn't know UGA fans.

Awwwwwww.....look! You edited your post so it doesn't say Richt can't beat an elite coach. You must have looked up Richt's record against Miles......

You are correct. Beating Hawaii was a much bigger accomplishment than beating LSU.
