Meh not so much for my team's success...mostly enjoyed all the regional rivalries back in the day too, the uniqueness of the schools and Geography. It's obviously great now but gotten a little too corporatey. Also, as a kid it was great to be completely immersed watching the games Saturday afternoons

I get it. And taking favorite teams and rivalries out of the equation, it honestly would be difficult to name a single decade for me. Offenses and players change so quickly in college football. There were so may favorite styles of offense and players....it would be hard.

My favorite times I remember as a kid was on new Years day and being at friend of my parents house. The men would sit and watch Bowl games and the women ....well, I don't know what they were doing. I saw some great teams and great players play, though.

1890s. It was really just about student-athletes and a passion for the game then.

90s were amazing but I was young so really didnt get hardcore into it till around 98-99. I watched and went to games but wasnt as focused as I started becoming till them. So I go the 2000s. I experienced it more, remember more, and enjoyed it more.

The 1980s is the only decade in my life where my team (Alabama) did not win a National Championship. So it is my least favorite from that stand point. But we had some great players on those teams which I remember fondly.
