I know this is going to be impossible to answer with a definite number, but what would yall say the ballpark range would be?

I was thinking about this because so many schools claim to have "one of" the greatest traditions in college football. Well hell, if 100+ teams have one of the greatest, that kind of dilutes the "greatest" part right?

No, becasue the traditionis great to that fanbase...they dont care about the others.

i dont care about your arch or puppies form Savannah...but you do.

But the entire country recognizes our mascot as great. And the Arch, while unique to UGA, isn't one of the greatest traditions in the country.

I don't really have a point here, just thinking out loud really about how seemingly every school has "one of the greatest" somethings in the country.

But that's not what I'm really saying. I know Auburn has Samford hall (although I don't know why it is special), but just because it's one of their main buildings and Auburn likes it doesn't make it one of the greatest buildings in the country.

You watch any given football game and the broadcasters always use hyperbole.

There is no "greatest" tradition, except for your own.

True. While I appreciate things such as Toomer's Corner, the War Eagle, etc. for Auburn, they will never top Mike the Tiger and LSU's Pregame Salute. But I expect Auburn fans will take the opposing view as they should. Same thing with other schools in the SEC. But that doesn't mean we can't appreciate other schools' traditions.

But there are hundreds of great traditions in the SEC alone. But seperating the "greatest" would be hard.

ETA: Maybe 1 or 2 per school? Even that's hard.

How many of those have attended a Heisman ceremony, been in a movie, and made the cover of SI? 1.

The "bulldogs" part isn't unique, but Uga is.

and amazingly biased. i wil say some are really cool , but not "great". Vol Navy is cool because it is unique, but not great. FNL is cool but not great. Tiger Walk...great!!! Chinese Bandits...cool.

One thing I've always wanted to ask a Georgia fan is about fight songs. Do yall particularly care about "Glory, Glory"?
