I always got a kick out of Auburn fans(people from Alabama) telling me(Ohioan) that I was a redneck for being a Bama fan.

Out of the many things that could be pointed out that are distasteful about bammer fans, I think the most distasteful trait that they possess, and the most obvious, is their smug sense of entitlement.

In a nutshell anytime AU has been succesfull it's came with an * (1957 Championship/probation, 1993 undefeated/probation, 2004 undefeated/Jetgate, 2010 Championship/dishonest Cam and Cecil) but AU acts as if they have accomplished everything on the up and up. Prime example: Pat Dye had to retire because he was knee deep in cheating and couldnt even do a 60 Minute interview and what does Auburn do. They name the field after him. Auburn has to cheat to compete but at least admit it. Recently it's been the Auburn fan bases decision to sell out their ethics and morality and basically turn a blind eye to Cam Newton and his fathers dishonesty. AU sold thier soul and integrity to sleep with a dishonest bunch of trash for a great season. They won a championship and the fanbase feels that the ends justified the means. Its annoying how almost the entire fan base actually believes Cam really "didnt know" because that makes them feel so much better about the season. The ones who dont have their head in the sand dont care, they have their #1. In the end its Auburn's false sense of accomplishment (like their 6 in a row over a probation BAMA) that makes me hate them.

I get tired of the phrase, our fans are classier than your fans. I always say "classy as frick, hell yeah"
