But, please don't think we will see 4 and 5 year QBs regularly make such a leap.

no kidding. The improvement both of them made in the lead-up to their final season was incredible. And... unfortunately, LSU fans are going to expect that shite with each QB going forward.

LSU fans aren't alone in expecting such incredible feats from their QBs.

With the transfer portal it’s more likely than before. Players that committed to a lower tier program have a second chance to work their way up. Look at this year

Michael Penix Jr. (year 6) Indiana to Washington
Bo Nix (year 5) Auburn to Oregon
Jayden Daniels (Year 5) Arizona St to LSU

Your theory proves wrong

It's really frustrating to watch other quarterbacks after watching JD5 all year.

But I'm glad I don't have to watch that shite defense anymore.

Penix was always great and injury prone like he is now when he was at Indiana.

Bo Nix beat a Justin Herbert led Oregon in his first game at Auburn. And, was woefully misused at Auburn.

He had 29 TD’s and 14 INT’s in 4 years at Indiana. I think he made the leap in years 5 and 6 at UW.

As an Auburn fan, I know.

I think it speaks volumes to the WR talent Louisiana produces. Hell, half of them play QB in HS.

But LSU should be able to pick their QB poison in the portal from here on out.

I remember Bo Nix ripping up LSU in BR. Bo just needed a better situation but to say he came from a situation like Daniels or Burrow is a lie.

I'd love to see a per capita for NFL WRs by state. There can't be anyone even in the same stratosphere as Louisiana.

shite, just look around the league/country this year.

Nabers
Thomas
Lacy
Keon Coleman
Tre Harris
Will Sheppard
Zavion Thomas

OP didn’t mention anything about previous situations - just making a leap in years 4 and 5…..

Remember Penix outplayed Justin Fields and threw 491 yards against Ohio State. LINK

Penix was always a stud.

Lots of players are studs and have good games. But he definitely made a leap in year 5 at UW.

QBs at Indiana don't have one off great games against Ohio State without being a dude. And, Penix was just as good last season at Washington.

OP is now in the “act like he was trolling all along” phase of being horribly wrong. Classic internet move.

If Georgia wins he’ll feel vindicated, though.

Jalen Milroe is a very good QB. Deal with it.

I know. Last year was his 5th year when he made THE LEAP.

Milroe isn't a good let alone great QB. Why do you think I'm trolling? Milroe isn't impressive to me at all.
