UGA has one hell of a campus in my opinion.

To get to crystal beach you have to take the ferry.
I had no idea, sounds like I didn't miss much 3 years ago though.
Have to check it out this summer.

Well if we're moving off campus
Was just about to do the same.
Here is pic of the Page st. Mansion in the Cotton District... first pic is one of unknown date but is from way before the Cotton District even existed and the area was a plantation.
Here is a pic of it now. It was renovated and made into student 1 bedroom apartments.
Some other pictures of the Cotton District housing, bars, and stores.
Here are some of the Bars/Restaurants in the Historical Main District downtown.

Funny you mention The Woodlands, that's where I saw the concert at. I think it was one of the first major concerts there after their huge renovation, one amazing venue. Just the walk from parking, and around that Pond and the scenery, LOVED that place.
My friend/roommate was dating a girl from Atlanta whose parents were divorced and her dad lived at the Woodlands at the time. He and I, his girlfriend, and one of her sorrority sisters drove from Tuscaloosa to the Woodlands, TX and stayed at her dad's. The whole concept of the Woodlands was pretty new back in the mid 90s with what was essentially one massive live and work neighborhood of about 40,000 residents at the time. Really neat area with very nice homes basically from $300,000 and up. I remember eating at a great Tex Mex restaurant there as well. Her father lived on one of the TPCs there but it wasn't the one they use to play the Shell Houston Open on (TPC Woodlands).

Cotton District reminds me a lot of Charleston and New Orleans.

My parents live in The Woodlands. It's about 100,000 people now. Great golf and tons of places to eat, as well has hospitals. Also a lot of offices and jobs based there. Exxon is building a huge office just south along I-45 (which runs from The Woodlands to Houston). I've seen several LSU posters on here that have The Woodlands as their location, the town is pretty much filled with A&M and LSU alumni.

Yeah UGA looks gorgeous.

That's why when A&M begins work on Kyle Field, I wouldn't mind seeing them move games to Houston for 1-2 years--can you imagine how wild things would get the week before an A&M-LSU game?

A&M-LSU at Reliant would be out of control. The Reliant officials thought tailgating for Texans-Cowboys got rowdy...

I remember going up in it during the 1982 World's Fair. Nice imitation of Reunion Tower.
Sad part is my uncle passed away the Mother's Day before that summer and I spent my birthday traveling to East Tennessee for the funeral.
