I will go ahead and post some illustrations of common nicknames or associations. I do like calling Georgia the Pups and Tennessee the Hillbillies.
Alabama = Gumps
Arkansas = Pigs
Auburn = Barners
Florida = Jorts
Georgia = Pups
Kentucky = Inbreds
LSU = Corndogs
Ole Miss = White Supremacists
Mississippi State = Cow Lovers
Mizzou = Yankees
South Carolina = Cocks (nothing to change with that)
Tennessee = Hillbillies
Texas A&M = Faggies
Vanderbilt = Nerds
