The guy has never stayed anywhere long enough to build anything close to consistent winning program or dynasty. He either gets fired on the tarmac or QUITS. The grass is always greener someplace else with Kiffin.

how many hot coaching names out there who are being discussed with respect to the Auburn job have better experience?

Hugh Freeze - longest tenure has been 5 years, 4 different schools over 12 years as a head coach.

Matt Rhule - 4 years at Temple, 3 years at Baylor, 2 years and some change with Carolina

Deion Sanders - in his third year at an FCS BHCU

Cadillac Williams - 1 game of HC experience

Lane has more experience in this conference, at three different schools, than the rest of those coaches combined.

It's sad people trying to mess with Ole Miss fans.

51% of this board's posters are douchebag simps who think Kiffin is a super cool dude, socially savage, pimp/player that raw dogs coeds and alphas any other man in the room at any time, and did I mention is a super cool guy?

Even the Kiffin fans can't answer this. They dodge the fact that he has no defense and can't win big games and just start attacking the other candidates. Hopefully they don't get a chance to learn the hard way at Auburn.

Who has he beat?

The conference is a hot mess and he has had the ball bounce his way more than not. Plenty of bad coaches have had good years and so can average coaches.

He has the 5th best school in the west sitting at 3rd. Yall should give him a Jimbo type buyout.

How upset will the auburn posters here be when Williams is announced as their next coach? He has them pumped in the two games he has been head coach and it appears he and Cohen have a good relationship.

Ole Miss would rather have Kiffin than to never have had Kiffin at all. The same with FAU and Alabama. Auburn would like to be competing for an SEC West title even if it was only for 2 or 3 years.

USC was on probation and was a bad choice to go there. Leaving UT was an immature ego thing along with the Raiders.

I think Kiffin is in a good spot now. He doesn't have a wife pushing him around.

He coaches like he is playing Xbox.

Take the FG on the first drive he is kicking for OT at the end instead of trying to convert a 4th and 16.

Wasn’t there another drive in the 2nd half where he went for it in 4th and failed?

He’s 85-44 as a college coach and has one losing season on his resume.

At Ole Miss he is 23-9 with three games to go.

He’s won a decent amount for such a bad coach.

I agree with you, I've never been sold on Kiffin as a HC, he's a great offensive mind though. At least under Freeze they beat good teams, and one of the flukiest plays I've ever seen kept them from their 1st trip to Atlanta.

Kiffin still doesn't have the marquee win since getting to Ole Miss. The closest thing to it is Arkansas last year, where they still gave up 50+ points in regulation. He's won the games he should win the past couple years, I'll at least give him credit for that. If he can follow it up again with a similar season I'll start giving him more credit for consistency because he's never been consistent before, it's always been up and down. As of now I'd still be weary of hiring him if I'm a bigger program like Auburn, or even for the Bama fans I've seen say they'd like Kiffin to replace Saban when it's time.

So he loses 1 out of every 3 and especially if the other team is ranked.

I never said he was bad. Just average and overhyped. He has wins but loses when it matters. That may be what OM likes but better schools fire coaches for losing big games.

If he was a married overweight regular dude that didn't troll people on twitter, nobody would give a shite about him.

What does that have to do with him getting Ole Miss to the Sugar Bowl last year and coming to close to winning the west this year?
