man, you are really revealing yourself with that one. i've lived in about 10 states, including florida and i have to say the worst cuisine, hands down, in those states is found in dear old florida. y'all have a lot of great things in your state and i loved living there but, with some fine dining exceptions, the food is awful. and a roux is not burned flour.

Thats called, roux. If you're too stupid to try gumbo then you deserve to eat your chain food or BBQ for your every tailgate. Louisiana has more culture in one city than the combined states of FL and AL. Pretty much all you get at UF & AL is BBQ. I would ask if y'all get tired of that shite but the leftover charcoal probably keeps your trailers warm on a nippy night.

When the Virginia Tech fans came to Tiger Stadium they were pissed because they had paid top dollar for what they thought were good meals in New Orleans the night before the game. They said that our tailgate food was better than New Orleans restaurants, and we weren't charging them a thing!
