Tennessee is by far my favorite road trip, great fans and setting. I got flashed last time I was there, she might have been a 2 or a 10 can't remember how many Jack Daniels I had.

Y'all had to settle for Jones. Dooley was able to beat him. I doubt he's the guy to return y'all from mediocrity.

That is such a lame excuse I could beat Jones if he was at Cincy and UT had Bray Hunter Rodgers and other talented guys. Cincy is not as talented as UT by a long shot so stop saying well Dooley beat him when Dooley clearly had the more talented team in that game.

And no one ever seems to mention that Jones beat Franklin and a vandy team that got beat by UT earlier that year.

Guys, just let them enjoy this while it lasts. Its really all they've had.......ever.

Ask any current 17 year high school blue chip if he cares what Tenn's record was before the fired Fat Phil.

Times have changed, DWI.

ETA: Tenn had a good run, you guys should be proud of that.

Obviously they dont, just look how poorly UT is doing on the recruiting trail. Its pretty clear they dont care about phil, but where we're going in the future.

Congrats on barely beating some of the worst UT squads in school history. You'll always have that.

eta: UT had 35 rushing yards in 2011, we controlled that game.

That sounds impressive...until you look at how inept UT's rushing game was that season.

2011 rushing stats

UT vs UF - (-9)
UT vs UGA - (-20)
UT vs UK - (+65)

I agree they have the past 4 years. Will it be like that in the long run? I highly doubt it. Why? Because we are Tennessee and you guys are South Carolina. Not a flame, it's just how it is.

Chavis was the sole reason UTK was significant in recruiting SC and the piedmont of NC. the Dillon native is now in Baton Rouge and the pipeline is cut off. how the hell y'all ever got Haynesworth and McDaniel accepted into college is a complete joke. the biggest laugher is Pearl getting Major Wingate accepted into college to play hoops.

Its amazing what once proud Tenn. fans are now conisdering moral victories. I can't imagine 5-10 years ago any of you guys trying to make a point about still being in the game against South Carolina in the 2nd half, no matter who the coach.

Gotta love the gas pumpers pretending their program can seriously be compared to Tennessee's on any level.

Trust me we don't want to be anywhere near your level

Sure - National titles and SEC championships are so foreign to the gas pumpers that it scared them.

Interesting, I didn't know some Tenn fans still cling to the term gaspumper. You do realize Kiffen abandoned you guys and the player in reference went in the 2nd round in the draft? Have things gone that bad at Tennessee to be that desperate for an insult?

You know who that comment was made towards? Alshon Jeffery. Now can you remind me how much money he is currently making?

Oh and I believe UT is 1-3 vs SC since that remark.

Neyland was an exciting atmosphere when Eric Berry was in "contention" for heisman. Now that place is just sad. First time since '07 I won't be going this year.

I mean, I guess gaspumper isn't too bad of a nickname.

I'd rather be pumping gas than have a player from my school rob me at the station

Should this annual matchup be in contention for a rivalry?
