Arch is terrible, but I wonder if the offensive struggles we have seen from teams are because defenses are beginning to adjust to them? Saban might unretire.

Vandy's OL is filled with 5th and 6th-year players, and their QB is in his 6th year of college football. They're going to be a tough out for most teams on their schedule.

The overhyped Arch Manning and the possible decimation of the predicted #1 team in the nation.

A few of my Longhorn buddies:

"I'm just praying that we win six games."

"We are fricked. Our backup QB's suck."

"I'm ready for basketball. "

I told the last one how could he make that prediction...you haven't played any conference games.

He said, "We likely lose to Florida."

So emotional with 1 loss....

In all fairness, there should not be a QB on Texas roster that "sucks".

I have no patience for that.

Oh I agree, I hadn't really paid attention. He claims your no. 2 is a transfer from Tulane that went 3-2 in games last year.

I was shocked, honestly.

Not the most interesting, but I haven't seen them mentioned.

Sam Pittman and Billy Napier will likely not last the season.

Were the Mannings promised the starting job? It is hard to believe Texas has no suitable backup.

Are you saying Vandy will be beating Alabama this season to make it two in a row?

Vandy and it ain't close. Vandy is PHYSICAL....that is not something anyone has ever said about many Vandy teams in the modern era. They ain't slipping up on folks and beating them with nuance. they are punching folks in the mouth and getting up and grinning when they get punched in the mouth.

Vanderbilt has been very impressive. How long can they keep their coach, and where might he go?

It may well be that in the current era he stays right where he is and builds a pretty good program. He is an alumni and they have deep pockets....they can match just about anyone dollar for dollar if they want to.

Not in the SEC but GT is also in the same boat with the exception of being smack in the center of the highest concentration per capita of blue chip 4 and 5 stars in the US....you don't have to leave Metro Atlanta to recruit a top 3 class if you have the money...they do...and are committed...to be decided. You could almost recruit Atlanta with a Marta pass and field as talented a team as anyone in the country....

State is going to surprise some people, but at this juncture you have to go with Vandy.

Forgot about Mississippi State....also very impressive. Fan base and program deserves it. As long as it don't get out of hand LOL....

South Carolina was looking like a pretty good team

I don’t know anything about their quarterbacks injury, though hopefully it’s something minor and he’ll be back quickly

South Carolina is pretty good....Vandy manhandled them.

QB play throughout the conference is great. We have some gunslingers and some elusive talent this year top to bottom.

Impressed with Simpson, Sellers (pre injury), Chambliss, Pavia gonna Pavia

Thought UF was going to be much improved this year. Now 1-2

I thought LSU offense will be much better this coming season.
