What is the disdain LSU has for Tulane…

or vice versa? I seriously don’t know the history behind it other than Tulane was an SEC member until 1965, if that has anything to do with it. Anything related to Georgia Tech/Alabama between Bear and Dodd?

Which one? Lol. My wife gets pretty pissy about this because she went to pharmacy school at Northeast, now known as University of Louisiana Monroe.
Her disdain has nothing to do with athletic penis measuring.

My dad hated Tulane and Ole Miss. I needed stitches when I was 5. Doctor came in with a Tulane pin on and my dad requested a other doctor.

LSU fans don’t hate everyone, baw. Just everyone who sucks . And many of you really, really suck .
Tulane and LSU used to despise each other but that’s 40 years ago. And ULL people have tragic levels of insecure Lil irrelevant Brother syndrome so that’s completely justified. And we hate Bama because they beat us. And we hate Florida, because they are , well, Florida. The rest of you are just good peeps and We welcome you to partake alongside us with the food and drink.

Okay. I will try to give an outsider's unbiased view on the matter. In short Tulane screwed LSU over by leaving the SEC.
To go into more detail Tulane was the Big Game for LSU. LSU had other rivals, like Ole Miss, but they weren't the Big Game. And yes, admittedly LSU was wearing Tulane out in the series but they were still the Big Game.
When Tulane left LSU didn't have that Big Game. College Football is built around the Big Game. In the SWC everyone loathed Texas so that was the Big Game. Alabama vs Auburn is the Big Game. Oklahoma slapping around Texas is the Big Game.
They do have a lot of mutual distaste with A&M so that might have turned into the Big Game in time... but with Texas joining the SEC A&M and Arkansas will automatically move Texas to the Big Game because we hate them so much. Tulane stole LSU's Big Game and they've never really been able to find a replacement.

LSU fans over 60 hate Tulane. Younger ones could not care less. I cheer for Tulane, ULL and the other LA schools playing other opponents.
