What is the deal with Arkansas?

Look Arky, I love you guys. I love Bert. I like the state. It's nice to have seasons here and not either 95 during the summer months or 75 during the winter months like Louisiana. My degree will say Arkansas on it, but what is the obsession with LSU?
I was listening to the touchdown club meeting two weeks ago and when the QB from Florida spoke he immediately trolled LSU. I went to riverfest and Sherryl Crow trolled Louisiana. Every friday I go eat at slims and I over hear people talking Arkansas football and they mention LSU.
LSU hasn't been the best team in the conference since 2007 (2011 doesn't count).
So why can't you guys hate or talk about Alabama or Texas A&M? The level of obsession with LSU around here has been remarkable. Just don't get why everyone around here tries to troll LSU but never talks about other SEC teams.

I saw Paula Poundstone in Fayetteville this year and she dogged on Alabama. But its her home state, and I'm sure she trashes every place she just visited.
She called out a guy in the audience from somewhere up north and trolled him throughout her set.
Don't take it so personally. It happens everywhere. You're just fine-tuned to hear anything related to Louisiana.

Arkansas believes they're on the same level as LSU and it kills them to know everyone thinks LSU is a better program.
