What is the big deal about 1 player missing 1 half of football?

Is LSU the first team to be screwed over by an iffy targeting call? It’s just one guy on an 85 man roster, why all the outrage?
Will it really make a difference? It’s not like he plays QB or another important position.

Tennessee’s starting MLB missed the first half of the Bama game due to a bogus targeting in garbage time of their previous game.

Man, it seems like the Quarterback of your defense would be a smart guy - like a guy smart enough to not put himself in a position where he could be suspended. Maybe, like most folks in Louisiana, he lets his emotions override his brain?

That's what I thought. You guys would be in a bad spot and mad. Especially with Hurts not playing. Kind of like us not having chaisson playing

Bad analogy, Tua’s smart enough to not get a suspension. White, as the ‘QB of the defense’ should have been smarter not to put himself in that position. Or 0 should have been smart enough to not have White out there in the fourth quarter.
