I'm not buying the hype either.
Will Muschamp can't fix their depth issue in a single offseason. And Johnson isn't as dynamic as Marshall + they lost Coates. Auburn will take a step backwards not forwards, IMO. I have them as one of two teams with virtually no chance of winning the West (the other being Texas A&M).

Gus's first year he broke about every passing record on the books at AU with Chris todd at qb.
He lit it up against 5 crap nonconference teams. Not so great against the SEC.

Why you concerned about what "love" we receiving? Love don't win you anything. It will work itself out on the field.

Some may say Auburn was a "broke leg away" from being 3-5 in conference, but there's also evidence to say that if Auburn had any semblance of a decent defense, they win against Texas A&M and Alabama
Bit of a difference between one play and an entire unit

Yeah, that may be true and all. But you're forgetting that we have the trees back in the ground. That's 1-2 extra wins alone right there.
Don't reply back unless you're ready to talk trees

Basically was one play in the A&M game.

Your defense collapsed after the first five games. You have no depth. Over the last 7 games against FBS opponents, you gave up 487.71 yards of offense PER GAME. You lost 5 of those 7 games.
Laugh all you want. Auburn has no chance.

We didn't really have a chance before the 2010 season either.

Because there was zero pass rush. You're completely ignoring that we should have that again this coming year.
