What is going on with Mullen?

I knew he would be a dud at Florida, but I didn’t think he’d be this bad

Unlike Chizik, Mullens is completely unlikeable so there is not a TV job for Dan the Douche.

Recruiting at a high level. He won at State because of all the diamonds in the backwoods of MS he could coach up. Florida doesn't want a 3 star that takes two years to develop into a first rounder.
Dude can coach and run a clean program. He is headed to NFL were he belongs.

Spurrier will always be a quitter in my book. I mean, he just quit on South Carolina in the middle of a season. That is the most embarrassing thing any coach could ever do.

agree that it was a bad look, but to dismiss him altogether is unfair

Merlin's success at Miss State was largely in part to always having a cake OOC w/4 G5s and getting Kentucky as a permanent rival. He essentially had 5 free wins each season.

Coaches do better in certain programs. When he gets fired, he may light it back up at his next gig, who knows.
