What if ESPN decided in 2010 that the SEC was the best option for both Texas & Texas A&M?
They couldn’t leave together.. the State of Texas wouldn’t have allowed it..
Texas couldn’t go first.. the State of Texas wouldn’t have allowed it..
Perhaps the Longhorn Network was ESPN’s poison pill to push the Aggies out the door and away from Texas and the Big 12..
Perhaps ESPN knew that the rivalry would grow even bigger than it would by playing the game each year..
Perhaps ESPN knew that they would then have the leverage needed to push Texas towards ESPN and the SEC, and away from Fox and the PAC or B1G..
Perhaps we are all just puppets and the Mouse is pulling all of our strings..
After all, can you think of another way that Texas & Texas A&M could have both left the Big 12 to join the SEC?

Good grief
Everyone left in 2010 despite espn
They left because you morons were trying to go to the pac 12 (but were rejected in the end)

Again.. ESPN knew that Texas wanted the PAC. What if this was their strategy to make sure that never happened?

For years, I thought the world revolves around Alabama. Turns out it’s Texas.

The reality ain't too far away from this. Definitely no other state in the South has as much influence as the State of Texas.

Occams Razor Principle states that the simplest reasoning is usually truth.
Which is a simpler thing to occur?
ESPN jumping through all those hoops or the Longhorns leadership just being greedy?
It’s a simple answer really. Even you know it’s the truth.

Texas is already Mexico 2.0
In the next 5 years it might as well be Mexico.
Press 1 for Spanish. Press 2 for English is about to be the norm in Texas
