Best one I have seen yet. I think probably because you used the terms "Mountain" and "Gulf" verse "North" and "South".

I have a feeling some South Carolina fans would have issue with being in the Mountain group. I know they aren't Gulf Coast but they are still like 50 miles from the Atlantic.

Please let this happen lol. Easiest division ever. Minus lsu of course.
Posted on 10/10/13 at 1:39 pm to Hugo Stiglitz
So the red division would be insane and the other division would be just LSU or UF every year

How about we just redo the east and west??
East:
Bama
LSU
A&M
Auburn
Arkansas
Ole Miss
Miss St
West:
UGA
USc
UF
Tenn
Kentucky
Vanderbilt
Missouri
I'm surprised no one has thought about this before.

So there's a problem, even though they have mountains and don't reside on the Gulf?

What about dividing them by age of the school?
Old Timers
UGA - 1785
UT - 1794
USCe - 1801
Bama - 1831
Mizzou - 1839
Ole Miss - 1848
UF - 1853
Young 'uns
Auburn - 1856
LSU - 1860
UK - 1865
Arkansas - 1871
Vandy - 1873
aTm - 1876
MSU - 1878
Those three are really fricking old timers.

I was pretty sure this thread was about Ole Miss when I opened it

Exactly...we could divide the teams up by slave state vs non-slave state during the Civil War.
Wait...that won't work.
Umm East TN was against the war (shhh! don't tell anybody but we tried to secede from the secession). Vanderbilt was of course for it.

Would be the dumbest way ever to divide divisions, but I would be fine with that. I personally hope in the not to distant future Bama and Auburn stop playing each year. I think it would be good for this state and a two game series every four years or so would make it more fun.

Not easier than current east.
