You would think all of those threads would be created by LSU fans.

Bama fans hated Pete Golding. Saban seemed to think he was super smart.

Maybe Golding will be a better head coach than a "super smart" DC.

It shouldn't take long to tell.

Lane is the best OC Saban had, even if he did cost us two NC. Once by quitting before the Clemson game and some could say trying to throw too much against tOSU with Derrick Henry averaging 15 yard per carry....but our defense also couldn't stop the 3rd string running QB for tOSU.

Maybe it works out well for both teams?

If things stand as they are currently, we're watching the end of college football.

Some people argue making a semipro league with player contracts is the only way to save it. I'm not sure it can be saved. Unknown star players won't have very large buyouts. Previously unknown diamonds will be poached. All star coaching and player talent will funnel to the highest bidder.

If the fans of a program start to feel hopeless and helpless, the program dies.

I'm happy Ole Miss is in the position they are in, but the combination of the CFP and no transfer rules, is destroying a lot of programs, even if they don't realize it yet.

Very good point. Now a player that is getting revenue sharing and NIL can be given cash and coached what to use it for to not make it traceable.
