I haven't heard one yet that was excited by this spread. Most say if they had to, they'd pick Arkansas because it's too many points to a team that's playing as well as Arkansas is right now.

A few have said they'd go with Georgia, but think there are better games to wager on.

When they start breaking it down, the only thing they really talk about with Arkansas is how great they've looked, how Pittboss has done a great job, and that they are very physical. Do point out that the WR is explosive.

But they don't really have to defend Arkie much because most of the public thinks the Hogs shouldn't be given so many points.

The counter, or several reasons given why they are not taking the points.

- the schedule may not be great, but UGA just looks the part on defense.
-the UGA defense has been top ten type for four seasons plus. (again saying there is no reason to doubt UGA's defense based on this year's schedule)
-the UGA defense hasn't let an extreme run heavy team put up points for several seasons now.
-Arkansas only put up 20 on A&M at a neutral field. A&M has a good defense, but there is still a gap between A&M and UGA.
- JT is the best QB Arkansas has faced to this point, and it's not close.
-Neither Texas nor A&M had the QBs they thought they'd have to start the season this year. QBs that were supposed to be better than what they have now.
-They can't find any matchup outside of their best WR vs. our corners that Arkansas has an advantage and that one is tied to a QB who is a run first guy doing something he's not great at.
-If Arkansas gets down early by a couple of TDs, it could get ugly. The offense is not made to get them back in games.

This is a classic "Vegas knows" scenario. The perception from the public and talking heads can't fathom the number, but a lot of them do not follow our program and only pay attention to what happened yesterday. Assuming week to week consistency is a major and common flaw in sports betting. Vegas exposes this.

I agree, but for Vegas to win on these type of things overall, all they need is to win 11 or 12 out of 20 tries. If they do this, that is still gonna be a major haul. Still a pretty good shot that they are wrong.

LOL Arkansas beat two overrated Texas teams! One probably was caught off guard. That is still no excuses to lose to an unranked Arkansas team. Now all of a suddenly Arkansas is a top ten team?!

Thoughts on the under? (49.5)

UGA is elite on D and Arkie plays solid D.
I think UGA wins 31-14.

After the 17-18-19 seasons, along with the uptick last season, I look forward to Saturdays not for wild fanatical reasons. I simply want to learn the truth of our football team, how well the coaches are developing the players, etc..

This group of upperclassmen have endured the unendurable.

Most Georgia fans that I’ve interacted with are looking forward to a hard fought game on Saturday for much of the same reasons as me. To learn the truth and with a win, prepare them for other hard games this season.

Of course we both want to finish the game with no injuries.

It has been nice to see how complimentary Georgia fans are about Sam and his staff.

Let’s go out and have both teams execute and have a game that makes everyone enjoy a good game.

Can’t argue with that.

I also couldn’t argue with someone saying Arkansas will cover.

They all have valid reasons.

KJ will go.

Was just a knee contusion. Wearing a brace this week and getting it treated.

How that will affect play calling is probably the biggest question.

Well I called one of those hotlines where they hit at a rate of 82%. He said I get one free pick this week and if it hits I have to pay to get more. I asked him about this game.

He said:

Parlay Arkansas straight up and the over.

Arkansas 65-3

Georgia fricked.

This is a power score line.

UGA is about 15.5 points better when you total up all position scores. Throw in 3 for the home field and it’s 18.5.

Question is do they have Arkansas scored correctly, and does all of UGA position groups play up to their potential.
