SEC wants a uniform approach for attendance but for how the ticket holders are tended too for renewals/donations/refunds/etc...that will be up to each school.

They are literally suggesting that your ticket will not be printed if you opt-out. No one slides into your spot.
So in that scenario does the seat stay empty or is it sold like a single game ticket?

They will be working out how to take temperatures at the gate in mass. Not by hand, but similar to airports where it auto-detects people as they walk by. Think metal detector apparatus.
So what happens when they spot a few people with high temperatures? Do they remove them and all folks around them?
Silliness

Me too, looks to be the best solution given the circumstances.

So it seems there will be no social distancing (spacing seating) in the stands. This makes sense to me. It's not logical to require fans to social distance but allow play on the field....that would look silly from a PR standpoint.

A&M expecting record season tickets sales for 2020.

Would stay empty.

The temp is taken before entry and the temperature of not allowing someone in is anything reading under 100 currently.

September everyone who has to walk any distance and stand in line ion concrete will be 100

But for all practical purposes the ability to re-sell valid season tickets on a game by game basis using stubhub and other avenues would still be available?

Who makes these?
Who makes these?

your donations will apply to 2020.
I'm assuming this was a meeting regarding UGA and I'm very surprised McGarity would apply donations to '21 because I know he wasn't going to refund them.
At least he did something right.

No fricking way.
This screams straight out of the movie idiocracy. So if this goes through, they’re going to have temperature stations at games from here on out.
Where does it end?
Replaced by facial recognition stations for ease and expedition of entering stadiums?
And it wouldn’t end there.
Slippery fkn slope.

True, but its happening. I don't like it either.
We build technology for 100's of companies per year and the biggest problem isn't with stuff like this, its with social media platforms.
If you could only see what is under those hoods, you would delete all of your account immediately and go off the grid.

Sample of what’s under the hood?
The only thing I have and half arse use is facebook to browse. Have twitter since 2007 but it’s been dormant since I created it.

So then folks are risking driving hours, spending money , and tailgating or staying at a hotel...only to be turned away at the gate for a temp over 100 degrees
Yeah football isn't happening
