Honestly he is already ahead of schedule. Harsin left this program in shambles.
What Freeze has done in the portal and the fact Freeze is going toe to toe with Kirby, Saban, Kelly, Dabo with 4-5 star recruits and only 7 months on the job is outstanding. The man is a recruiting machine and determined as hell.
Give him 2 years.

My opinion is that returning starters >> portal transfers.
I have yet to see anyone portal themselves from bad to good. Maybe Michigan State for one year, then dropped. Some teams that were already talented have been able to use the portal to improve, like LSU 2021 to 2022, but no wholesale portal has yet to work. If it does work for one year, it is not sustainable and not a good long-term way to build a team.

Uhh, Gata beat Lane in his first ever game as Ole Miss HC. Congratufrickinglations.
Since then,,Lane and the Rebs have won more games than Gata. I know it’s upsetting to you, but that doesn’t mean it’s not true.

He will come crashing down soon enough. Ole Miss will eventually realize he suckered them as bad as he did Al Davis and Mike Hamilton.
After Ole Miss wipes the egg off their face, Kiffin will be an OC somewhere. HC jobs in the big leagues will be a thing of the past. Maybe snag a HC job at an FCS school.

I understand that. But there were extenuating circumstances (mostly from Hugh) that wouldn't be an issue in today's NIL world.
