Georgia doesn't run a spread.

They run some spread stuff, that's for sure. And if Wilson's handling of spread Os has been bad, expect to see some zone read, slip screens, etc.

They took a 1-2 on the chin and was still a little rocked when they got up. IMO, they come out looking better against UGA and pull off the upset.

Biggest problem this year was losing their defensive coordinator.. they were really good last year on D.. not so much anymore.

You do realize we lost 3 defensive starters who are playing in the NFL.

Our guys looked flat and unemotional for Tech. Hopefully they look like they want to play UGA.

This is not a must win for State, but a upset would be great for their program. Ga better be ready.......it should be a good game.....State was embarrassed by Tech.....Tech was a good team.
...but Ga is better.......

An 8-5 season for State would be excellent........

Only to Ole Piss and look whats happening to them.......thus the recruits in Miss stink......

Mullen is a much better coach at developing talent than Nutt. Look at what Mullen has to work with and where he goes with it. Look at what Nutt has to work with and what happens to it...

So State was suppose to play great against the #1 team in the Nation????????

Maybe I didn't word it correctly. LSU CLEARLY had more talent on the field and depth than Mississippi State. I wasn't talking about the recruiting battle between LSU and MState; I was just speaking in general. I thought State did a pretty good job of running with the big boys that is LSU for a while under the circumstances. A 'W' is a 'W' and I would have been happy with the outcome of that game either way.

Day's ideal position is Guard. He has a ton of potential but he will suffering growing pains. He will be dominant as a JR and SR.

Truth.

He is learning to play Center in an unstable environment with the injuries on the OL. If the coaches think he can do it, they will keep pushing him until he is at the level they want him. His snaps looked really good in the Auburn game but I think he gets ahead of himself and is thinking more about his assignment than snapping the ball as in the LSU game and the Tech game.

What's up with the SEC? It's just not that good this year outside of 2 teams and maybe to a lesser degree Florida though I am not sold on them being a top 20 team yet.

State fans. Do you know realize what we were talking about when we were talking about replacing a LT and C in the SEC? Those 2 spots are probably in the top 4 mist important on offense. Trust me it should improve through the year.

The New Woody/Bo coaching rivalry is slowly strangling the rest of the conference. Deal with it

Talked to a trainer carmon isn't 100% ccloser to 85% and day has messed up quite a few protection calls at center so they moved saulsbury back to center his natural position and leaving clausell at lt because carmon isn't quite healed for the strain of lt

They need to put Day at guard and Carmon at tackle. I think an 85% Carmon is better than a 100% Clausell.
