What game plan do you think Florida will use against Bama?

I think they will do a lot of 4 and 5 wide sets. Short, quick passes and a lot of hurry up, a lot like Mississppi State. Stack the box on defense and leave the corners on an island. Lots of stunts and blitzes

1.) Curl up in fetal position
2.) Pray it's over quickly
3.) ????
4.) Profit

Spread the defense and run the QB... until we go to man and then he will bomb the corners hoping for PI

Empty the bag of tricks on offense. HUNH, read option, pop passes. Could be a slow motion HUNH. Sprint to the line, don't sub, look over to the sideline for the playcall. Don't let Bama sub

Look, UF is fricked...but Mac will be able to give us a headache of two along the way. He knows too much

Pray the defense bails out the offense.

I would love for them to do just that, but everyone likes to give Bama their very best shot. The will mortgage the future just to knock of Bama. Mac is going to throw every thing he has at Bama.

Harris isn't good enough to spread Bama out.

Try to run the ball, maybe hit a long one off a crease or play action. Maybe a D or ST score.

Try to get to 17-20 points and hope that's enough.

Harris can't pass so that leaves:

Wildcat
Read Option
Jet Sweeps

However, we probably won't do any of the above and will throw the ball 32 times again.

Yeah, they should bring their own lube. We will only rush 4 and double up coverage on all of their WR's with one or even 2 spies on their QB. No way they cross the 50.

Would be shocked if the read option isn't featured pretty heavily, think that's why Mac closed practices-- our complete and total lack of QB depth is why we haven't run it much with Treon since he took over as the starter (it's in the playbooks, we ran it when he was splitting time with Grier).

1st down - kneel down
2nd down - fake punt then kneel down
3rd down - QB sneak
4th down - punt

Yep, he has been saving the zone reads and QB runs for this game. Couldn't really do it earlier because if Harris went down that left us with only Guy and Grady (who I don't think would be much worse a this point). Mac even said in a press conference that the game plan is to go the opposite of the tendencies and throw some stuff at Bama they aint seen on film. We are probably 99.99999% certain to lose but I think were gonna see what our HC is made of in this game.

The "Pistol" is the only way UF can hope to defeat Bama. At least that would be my gameplan. Arm all my starters with Glocks.

I just do not know if any gameplan on offense is going to handle that Alabama defense.
