Here is the unofficial history of The Grind (tGrind), by anc.
The Grind was born after Anthony Dixon went for 252 yards against Kentucky on November 1, 2009 (The Grind will be 10 in a couple weeks!). In the postgame interview, barely literate Anthony Dixon alluded to "fun fun fun" and the fact that he was just Grindin' for his state.
Tigerdroppings once had a pretty decent allotment of State fans. Good one lines. Great trolls, and the ability to organize. They would pick one opponent a year and just troll the hell out of them for a week. At first, it went unnoticed. The 2010 opponent was Kentucky, in honor of Dixon's comments the year before. State defeated Kentucky 24-17.
In 2011, State tried to grind Auburn. Auburn won an exciting 41-34 game in which the referees stole the game from MSU.
In 2012, State grinded Auburn again, and this time won 28-10.
In 2013, the Grind almost died, but made it back just in time to grind Ole Miss, and State won 17-10 in OT in the game that birthed the legend of Dak Prescott.
By 2014, everyone was begging to be grinded. State was 3-0 and unranked because their opponents were garbage, but State fans knew what was going to happen in Death Valley. Dak went down and beat the Tigers and it was Grindamonium. Two weeks later, State beat Auburn and were #1 in the country.
Auburn was grinded again in 2015 and South Carolina was the victim of the grind in 2016. State tried unsuccessfully to grind Georgia in 2017 but grinded Auburn in 2018.
Texas A&M begs for the grind every year. They will never get the grind. Even though we are their father.
This year's grindfest hasn't happened yet. It will probably be Alabama week.

I forgot about that guy. Funny story, I was at a game between state and Lsu one time and was as close to the Lsu bench as possible.
During said game Brandon lafell, or however it's spelled ,absolutely destroyed someone on the far Sideline from me, it literally sounded like a car wreck. It was extremely violent, to the point where people physically felt sick from seeing it,my cousin had friends on states side of the field, and they said some people literally thought he was gonna die from it and were crying. Just two or three people, but still.
On Lsu sideline you could hear ciron black cussing loud as shite about a player that was, "the dirtiest guy I've ever seen or heard about in my life "that's what he was saying and I'm thinking it was that Dillon Day guy. Thought he was a center though
