It really depends. Our 2008 schedule was among our toughest ever. Obviously this isn't the 2008 team, but you really never know where a team will step up and/or fall apart.

Nothing, they can’t afford to fire him

The Gators were an 8-4 football team last year that found a way to be 5-7 because of poor coaching, poor execution and undisciplined play. That is all I expect.

Out of curiosity, and hoping for a reasonable discussion...which games did you lose that you felt you should have won?

That’s the toughest schedule I’ve ever seen. I really believe Florida is going to run out of players before the final few games. I don’t see how any staff could survive the attrition that is likely to happen.

Is there a team in the country that could run that gauntlet and remain unbeaten?

Strickland will go first then Napier, he has to honestly get to 7 wins - with our without a bowl win, in order to keep his job.

What is the consensus on Strickland outside of the football hires?

Nothing will change, despite a riduculous number of staff, interns and two O line coaches. And better talent overall on the roster. Nothing will change.
the most key change was firing himself as OC/playcaler

Another year of the HC and OC being the same exact idiot

He needs to start the season hot then beat someone he shouldn’t to finish 6-6 or 7-5 and hope they are lenient on him considering the schedule.

It’s much more like they go 3-9 though.

The fact he wasn't even willing to put in a placeholder OC is nuts

I hate it for Mertz, he's actually balled out so far and wildly exceeded expectations. But it doesn't matter when your HC is a moron.

One of life's great mysteries but my theory is they have nothing else to do all day but drink and occasionally pick up their unemployment checks.

like even if it was obvious as a placeholder.

He doubled down and cited some bullshite “analytics” as the reason why he should remain playcaller.

I’ll see if o can find the interview, think it was with that bald douche Pate, but Napier said the dumbest shite ever and hearing that was the moment I knew this season was going to be fricked and we’ll likely win 2-3 games

I've said it before but he's a decent playcaller. His problem is managing a whole team. Until he can do that he shouldn't be doing two jobs.
