Ole Miss doesn’t have the pressure. That is why Lane is happy there

This. Just go to a bowl game and they’re happy.

Defenses hadn’t figured out how to defend the kind of offense he runs yet when he was at Ole Miss.

Anyone who actually knows anything about football knows this is the case. Idiots who buy their Alabama T-shirts at the flea market or Walmart, think it’s because it’s easier to win at Ole Miss.

Did you ever find a link for Lashlee's new contract? Ya know, since you're such a ball knower.

Auburn would kill to go to a bowl game at this point. 2018 music city bowl is the only bowl game they've won in over a decade now.

As their athletic director issues statements about championship expectations.

They seem to have some pretty unrealistic expectations down there at this point. Can really see the appeal of a job like Ole Miss over a toxic situation like that.

Why was O so much more successful at LSU than OM?

O wasn’t ready to be a head coach when he landed in Oxford. He learned a lot from that experience and was more prepared when he hit Baton Rouge. Was also a better fit for the culture.

And was he that much better? He had one magical season; maybe the best college team I’ve ever seen, with a generational QB. Then poof. Even a blind squirrel can tell the correct time twice a day ….

It has nothing to do with recruiting. It's not like Hugh failed at recruiting. Jury was out on his offense.

I really do think the pressure from the boosters got to him

He got everything he wanted from them and couldnt win games. He actually found impressive ways to lose games.

It wasn't "pressure from boosters". It was He couldnt win games and made many, many bonehead decisions in games and in his talent evaluation. Especially at the tackle position and QB.
