LSU football died in 2011. LSU has lost at least 3 games every year since 2011. Three of those seasons saw at least 4 losses. LSU hasn't won a division championship since 2011. In fact, since the inception of the SEC Championship game 27 seasons ago, LSU only has 5 division crowns. Only 2 more than lowly Arkansas. The facts are, LSU was mediocre in the 90s, had a great run in the 00s, and have now returned to mediocrity.

Ok, so we have football + basket weaving sports. You have nothing.

We have plenty, however at some point in this thread, Tuscaloosa decided the beginning of the modern day sports era began in 2012, concurrent with expansion for whatever reason even though Texas A&M has done squat in the conference. Bama is definitely the gold standard in football both recently and historically, but I believe most fans would objectively say Alabama has not had anything close to the success LSU and other SEC teams have had when it comes to baseball and basketball.

You do? Because you haven't won championships in any of the BIG FOUR recently.

It's just silly when LSU fans act like Alabama doesn't compete in other sports. You have a lot to brag about on your end without making stuff up about Alabama to try and troll or make yourself feel better for some reason.

Finished 6/7 in 2018. Ranked in Top 20 all but 3 years since 2001. How’s that compare the Arkans-arse?

Yea, correctly false statements isn't being up in anybody's head.

Is that supposed to have any discernible meaning?

We're literally responding to a LSU poster. Responding being the key word.

No, y'all literally aren't. Tusc jumped in when he got his feelings hurt that LSU finished ranked in the top ten in the country last year.
quote:

If LSU fans want to stop with the BAMMERS JES A FOOTBALL SKEWL thing then nobody would be posting about all of this. It's not rocket science.

Tusc is making you look like a liar ITT.

This thread had nothing at all to do with Alabama until y'all showed up all butthurt because there was a thread where no one was talking about Alabama.

Here's a clue: just because someone says that LSU has a good football team doesn't mean that Alabama has a bad football team. Try to relax and not take everything so personally, it comes off as insecurity.

I casually added this tidbit:

quote:

And hasn’t finished better than 3rd in their own division since 2012.

And your boy went into full blown meltdown mode that resulted in the rare tail-chase self-own.

Well, I wouldn't call them Arkansas. Comparing them to a perennial doormat would just be pouring salt in the wound. I sometimes refer to Tennessee as "Sewanee". Is that the kind of thing you're looking for?

(Google should be able to help with your "What's a Sewanee?" question.)

Is Google available in Arkansas?

4 pages of dribble.
The OP started a thread describing his own team and is too dense to see it.

Is LSU as good as Bama: No
Is LSU a good football team: Yes
Is Arkansas the worst team in the conference after being nationally ranked several years ago: Yes

The very definition of the OP’s Title.

I don't know about any of that. I read through and on about page 3 someone started discussing how Alabama is only good at football and nothing else, so I inserted myself to correct that.

Oh I see, the history of college athletics began in 2012 or whenever it fits your argument. Since you didn’t win the championship last year, I suppose Alabama hasn't won a championship recently either. Is that how it works? I guess it's all arbitrary now is that right?

Yeah, I could see where a Clemson fan may take issue with that. That was quite a drubbing.

Kinda made Alabama look bad at football.

So I guess we could add Alabama to the list of teams that answer the OP.

It's just so nice to see other teams and programs "livin' in the past".

Never thought we'd get to laugh at somebody else for that. Good times baw, good times.

Right - only 1 team nationally is good at football. Everyone else sucks.

Please enlighten me Einstein. Is the only relevant time period the past 6 years excluding the beat down you received in January?

Awesome! I’m glad we all can agree that Ole Miss won the West back in 2003.

He said tied.

Why are you changing his words to won? Fwiw, Ole Miss didn't win, it tied. Their banner says they won.

How do you not know or understand this?

I'm not living in the past, I couldnt' care less either way. I just think it's funny how the past six years are the only time period you believe is relevant. Well, except for this past January.

bullshite. They were Co-SEC West Champions. Just like LSU was Co-2nd place in the SEC West in 2018.
