I could see a 3-9 season for you guys, 1-7 in conference.

I've been expecting a Woody Hayes moment from him since his LSU days...I'm going with that

I'm all for someone from Clemson getting punched, and we'd get a better coach to boot.

I'm for this!

My biggest issue is that you guys don't have a side of the ball I trust right now. Outside of Kentucky, all the other teams in the east have a defense, and if they figure out QB could be pretty good. (Except vandy who I expect to be real good on d, but no offense. Bad luck catching them game 1)
You guys have a real talent issue on D, and I'm not sure how much Muschamp and T-Rob can overcome it. Add a freshman QB and im not sure that side of the ball can carry the load.
I might be wrong about all of that, but as if this moment I just can't pick a team that I feel you guys are certain to beat in conference

That is my prediction as well. Who can say on wins and losses but there will be some fun temper tantrums.

I expect 5-7. I won't be surprised with 6-6. Kentucky and Missouri will be key games.

Would you consider this a bad season for Muschamp and the Gamecocks?

You're the SEC program in South Carolina. There is no reason y'all should be so much worse than Clemson.

anything north of 3 wins.

I think we'll be better than last year, so that's all we have to do to show that.

4 or 5 wins will be an improvement, but still leave me feeling like meh.

6 wins will earn a bowl trip and I think would be a good testament to the turnaround Muschamp would be accomplishing.

7 wins, and the smack talking is back. We'd be a lot closer to returning than sec east teams would like to admit.

8-9 wins, that means we beat uga or florida or tennessee or those guys in some combination. If Muschamp does that and one of those W's is against Butch, he's done, it's over. vols hate their HC's losing to SC. Ask Majors, Fulmer, or Dooley.

10+ wins and we probably go to the SECCG and florida completely melts.

South Carolina has big questions on offense at WR and QB. Get used to that under Muschamp. They have a decent RB that could go for 1000 just based on necessity. The defense has been crap the last few years and that won't be fixed overnight. Especially without Skai Moore. I think they will be scrappy, but will ultimately fold in a lot of games late.

09/01/16 at Vanderbilt - WIN 1-0
09/10/16 at Mississippi State LOSS 1-1
09/17/16 vs. East Carolina WIN 2-1
09/24/16 at Kentucky WIN 3-1
10/01/16 vs. Texas A&M LOSS 3-2
10/08/16 vs. Georgia LOSS 3-3
10/22/16 vs. Massachusetts WIN 4-3
10/29/16 vs. Tennessee LOSS 4-4
11/05/16 vs. Missouri LOSS 4-5
11/12/16 at Florida LOSS 4-6
11/19/16 vs. Western Carolina WIN 5-6
11/26/16 at Clemson LOSS 5-7

I think USCe may scare up one upset at home in October when they play 5 in a row there, but they may also cough up one they shouldn't to ECU or Vanderbilt.

I think there is a good chance that sc catches some teams flat and unmotivated when they play. Could lead to an upset or two.

...so do y'all. I honestly couldn't name y'all's QB or star WR now. Is Dubose still there?

As far as defense, most of the star talent Muschamp recruited was drafted this year. You better hope he recruited some great guys behind those guys' classes.
