This pic is what I think of after reading your statement xwing:

Is it true X Wing fricked your wife and that's why you associate every longhorn on this site that triggers you with that star wars poster? You conveniently ran away when confronted about it last time...

All of this talk about Bama reminds me so much of 2008 opener. Will be good but not real good. Bama sucked last year so why would they be any better this year. Will play Clemson tough for a half but Clemson will pull away, Bama lost both recievers from 2007. New coordinators on both sides of the ball will take time to gel. Bama only has 9 seniors on the entire team, lost everybody from 2007.
I remember it oh so well..

It's wishful thinking at this point. Literally hoping that Saban's reign is over and Bama won't be dominant ever again like they were. All this after a season where they lost two games, both on the last play.

Personally I think Bama will regress some this season and that Texas will be improved, but I think Bama is going to come out good and pissed and whip Texas. I’ve already put a little money on Bama. Interested to hear other thoughts
Last year's final score:
20-19
Texas (should) be a little better this year with a returning QB. Bama (should) be about the same this year, or maybe a bit down because of a new QB taking the reins.
Bama has home field this time. I think that is the only thing in their holsters to get them past Texas if they do.
Last year's game was a freaking RIOT to watch and I loved it. This one will be just as good if not better.

How many times y'all going to use that excuse?

I think with it being the 2nd game of the season and Texas returning 10 of 11 starters, Texas will actually win this game. I don't believe the QB situation at Bama will have the offense gelling after one cupcake game. However, if this were the 5th or subsequent game I would bet the farm on Bama.

Well said sir. I believe Georgia and Alabama, have returned enough talent where a game manager is good enough. Saban has had a lot of success with that kind of QB. It will be interesting to see a Georgia team with a QB like that. I know nothing about Georgia’s quarterback situation, but I know replacing Bennett is no small feat.
