Still like the direction we are heading. Need to start the season better. The players love bert and play hard for him. Defense gets a little bit of a pass this year because so many big pieces left but we return almost all two deep players on defense so we better see major improvement on that side. The injury bug hurt us pretty bad as well.

We honestly, according to the pundits weren't supposed to do jack last year or this year. We gotta replace too many starters, no QB, no O-line, too many defections on defense and so on. We went 12-2 and won the SEC last year. Here we sit 10-1 right now, ranked number 2 and in control of our own destiny again. Nobody but Bama fans thought we'd be where we are.

Our FG wondered through the wilderness for 3 years to finally be half decent when we needed him the most.

I did hundreds of push ups every loss as I watched the games so the evenings wouldn't be a total waste (except for the Arkansas game which I went to and left 2 minutes before the end which demotivated our inactive Olineman who tweeted that I and all the other fans who left early are bad fans. :-O )

Damn I hope so. If you missed it this morning on the radio, analyst now say your divisions mediocrity has cost the SEC the overall best confrence in the country ranking. Now surpassed by the fricking PAC 12. Espn and the east are the devil!

That dude is an absolute beast. I have seen his recruiting film thanks to working with a whole lot of UGA fans this season. He is a giant of a QB in both talent and physical stature. Guess it all depends on how UGA can develop this guy.

This for UT as well. At least glad to see a team that finally doesn't suck arse.
Also, (inb4 vololol fan talking about next year) next year's team looks NASTY.

I believe our HC hire was a home run, he can coach and recruit so i believe the team is going in the right direction given where we are now and the class we have lined up.

The team, program is undeniably improving, and we SHOULD be much better next year.
7-4, soon to be 8-4, feels like a let down right now, but almost all Volunteer fans would have happily taken that before the season started.
The future is very bright in Knoxville.

Positive: Significant improvement on defense. Unfortunately, that was offset by the shitshow that is our offense under Jake from State Farm.

Entire SEC West heading to a Bowl this year again. Not bad. At least from someone wanting to watch quality football from a whole conference instead of just watching your own team.
I can appreciate something like that even though we may be the weakest link in the division looking back to how this season has unfolded.

We're quite likely to end the year on a 6 game winning streak. When's the last time we've had that

Richt is one of the best QB developers in America, without question. I have no doubt that eason will do wonders for us, I just have my doubts that it'll be right out of the gate.
Oh, and again, frick schott. He's a bum.

I'm thankful Bama is Bama and I'm young enough to enjoy the hell out of it!

Our streak against non-P5 teams is still intact. 68 consecutive victories and still counting!

We had many a good tailgate with great food and great beer. That definitely helped with the season.

We haven't been kicked out of the SEC yet? God, I don't know. Stop asking difficult questions.
But seriously, our defense is really good, especially with the talent level. That's quality coaching there. We just need an offense. We'll take anybody's OC. Yes, anybody's. Except Missouri. Y'all suck.

Apparently yall have been under the point spread in EVERY game this year
and I honestly wouldn't be surprised by a final score of like 17-7 this week.

I pray you don't steal away our OC while Long is counting the yearly cash revenue.
Arkansas positives: Brandon Allen and overcoming injuries.
Brandon Allen may be the ultimate rags to riches story in Arkansas football history. He was miserable for the first three and a half years of his career at Arkansas. Then it clicked and he's been on a rampage. The one game we've lost since he's turned the corner is when the coaches elected not to go with him in the last series of downs.
To say our skill positions have been wiped out by injuries is an understatement. Collins stepped up when we lost... well pretty much our entire RB corps. Drew Morgan emerged from nowhere and has battled through his own injuries to have a great season.
That we are still in play for a winning season after the avalanche of bad tidings this season started with is a very big positive.

The latest rumor is Noel Mazzone from UCLA as Spavital's replacement...Vanderbilt, you can have Spav.
