Is that where Bert got the stolen gun, weed smoking kid thrown out of the game? He was reinstated by the suddenly wealthy MonroeDA that retired shortly thereafter...

Duke Williams got his arse handed to him a couple of times while at Auburn.

I cant think of any..
In fact, the basketball teams "coaches fight" vs uga 2 years ago may be better than anything the football team has to offer

Everyone lalks about the 97 Egg Bowl brawl before the game, but the 1990 game had a dandy break out during the game. It was the last Egg Bowl ever played in Jackson. It was right after a punt. There was pushing and shoving and both benches emptied. I remember State QB, Sleepy Robinson, and another State player beating the shite out of OM punter Charles Childers. The Clarion-Ledger had a giant overhead picture of the fight in the Sunday paper.

Yea it was and he had lost all respect from the players mainly because of his playing favorites. Rules didnt apply to his favorites. They could fail 5 drug test and still play but the less desirable were gone for skipping one class.
Our self appointed punishment was no bowl game. Clemson didnt want to follow suit but finally caved after media pressure and took the same punishment.
Those last couple of Holtz years were rough. He was pretty good at coming in and building but he couldnt/cant maintain a program. His corny one liners are productive when heard for the first time but after you hear it over and over nobody falls for that shite again.
He seems jolly and friendly on tv but in person he is an a-hole.

They actually considered charges against some of the players. They were close to making arrest but I'm not sure whatever happened to change their minds. It was bad. You can see in the video those were some vicious attacks

I'd have to disagree. Skip lost control, Skip played favorites. Lou admonished him for it but he had basically handed the program over to Skip, with Mike's approval, the last two years ... and that was the mistake.

Lou is a good man but he was tired. That he came out of retirement for us - we should forever be grateful. You should forever be greatful as a Gamecock fan. I never got tired of his one liners ... he is one of a kind. Beth and he battled through those last two years with her dealing with cancer and still, they stuck it out. Jenn (Jennifer) Skip's wife was a major problem, a major problem causer and Skip did some incredibly irresponsible things that also caused a lot of problems.
Lou has always been a sprinter, not a marathon runner. He was just what we needed at the time. Skip can go frick himself.

That's just total bullshite. He is a good man, a very caring, very generous, very approachable man ... within reason. He does like his privacy and who can blame him. He's very funny in person and I have never seen him be ugly to anyone that didn't deserve it on some level. He was/is set in his ways. He's Lou fricking Holtz by God ... and he came back and saved us when he didn't have-to and were it not for him we never would have gotten SPURrier here fyi.
Lou doesn't owe us a thing ... I'll be there at his funeral in South Bend the day he is buried and it will be a sad day. Great man, great Gamecock. He loves us to his core.

Here's your beloved Holtz being

I guess she learned her lesson about telling him the interview was about one thing and then asking him a political question huh?
He doesn't line the media, doesn't trust them, and who can blame him? I could go on and on about how many times he was hit with gotcha questions around that time or how many times he had to respond to some bullshite Ron Morris wrote about him ... a petty-assed grudge Morris carried over from his days up in Raleigh when Holtz was at NC State. (Same thing Spurrier had to deal with at Duke ... and Spurrier put the kabosh on Morris' career when he got tired of it.)
Lou was very accommodating to the press 99% of the time. The only thing he ever asked of us was to not film or photograph him while he was smoking his pipe and to never ask him about something that laying sack of shite Ron Morris would put in the paper.
The only other time I ever saw him short with anyone was rhe day he left ... and if you'll look at pictures of him standing at the podium in the Letterman's Lounge that day I was standing right beside him ... and he was definitely pissed-off at Mike McGee that day because Mike told him Skip was not going to get the job but he woukd pull strings to help Skip get the job at ECU, which he did.
Other than that Lou enjoyed the limelight most of the time and always played to the crowd.
He saved us when he came here and we should never forget that. He was an under-sized overachiever so he gets a pass for being a little egocentric at times.
I've seen Spurrier do far worse but I'd still rather have either of them, and Jim Carlen who was a beast with the press .... than another loser like Brad Scott.
For that matter there is no bigger a-hole than Boom mUSChamp when he wants to be .... but I'm still damn glad he's our coach right now.
I think you are being incredibly unfair and dishonest about Lou.

I see your mom finally paid the internet bill for you. One day CNB you'll see things differently. You'll put away child like things to become a grown up. I would say man but that's unlikely with your Peter pan condition. I can tell you about. I can explain it until you're blue in the face but until you actually get laid you'll never understand why you're laughed at for having a gazillion post.

CNB do us a favor and post less. Go out, leave the house. Get a job, some fresh air....a gf or be whatever your preference but my God dude its unhealthy to be you. Go look in the mirror and ask yourself if this is what you wanted to be when you grew up? A message board troll. Their is no trophy for the most post or shittiest post bro. Mom needs to kick you out the house and show some tough love on your arse lol
