2005 I think it was maybe ... vs Clemson up in their dump of a shithole sister banging sheep humping stadium.

Both teams were prevented from going to bowl games because of it and it marked the end of the Holtz era for us.

And I give y’all shite about Fournette but we were rough as hell on him in the game where he took a swing. Not sure what the hell happened in the hurricane game, probably just both sides yapping during warmups.

Ole Miss and Miss State had a pretty good one in 1997 that is shown periodically on TV.

LSU had a huge one vs Tulane in 1984 where the game was called with something like :34 left.

Auburn had a pretty big one vs Oregon State at Legion Field in 1973.

Yeah, that '87 game in Miami was one of the most egregious brawls in NCAA history and it left most of the nation realizing what a bunch of thugs Miami was back in those days.

SC was robbed of the game with the Ellis injury ... that's number one. Secondly, our BoTs voted to never schedule them again during the regular season ... and we didn't and haven't. Although, we did play and beat them in SPURrier's final bowl here, which he found satisfying but we older fans found particularly satisfying after all of these years.

Hell, fights broke out in the stands between fans during that brawl in Miami. Stadium cops ran out of stadium cells ... they were transporting fans to Dade County in buses. And there were more fights in the parking lots afterwards ... I am talking brawls. Cops were having to use pepper spray to break-up brawls after the game.

What few Miami fans there are down there ... they are the dregs of South Florida.

93 Tech

The first 1:30 of video is pretty meaningless. Beta announcer concludes it’s UGAs fault because we threw a TD pass on 4th down with a commanding lead. Boo hoo.

That South Carolina- La Tech brawl in '92 was pretty epic.

I can't think of any, either.

In fact, the only thing that comes to mind outside of normal chippiness, are the two national championship games. But, neither case was in the same galaxy as a brawl, just atypical behavior. One had our Center pushing our quarterback. And the other, this year, had a jackass clotheslining people, throwing some punches, and going after a coach on his own sideline.

I guess, maybe, you could include Tony Brown's antics after the Iron Bowl. But, it seems unfair to count against the team stats for crazy Tony Brown's predictably, unpredictable behavior.

Here's video of the two brawls mentioned.

Tulane-LSU, 1984

LSU-Florida State, 1990

LSU's band also had a scrap with Auburn kicker Damon Duval at halftime of the 2001 game in Tiger Stadium.

And then there's the 2005 tunnel brawl OP mentioned.

They should ask them to take the helmet off before they punch them.
