Not refuting that, but even good backs tend to struggle when the defense knows there isn't a proficient passing game, so they concentrate on the running game. Give Hurts a little pressure and his best play was to roll right, out of the pocket, and throw out of bounds.

Totally agree. Jalen Hurts made it incredibly difficult on our running backs last year. I am glad it is over with. Our offense was painful to watch last year and it sucked seeing players like Ridley throw their hands up in frustration. No longer will defenses load the box and dare us to throw it because now we actually will.

Because he loves arguing for the sake of arguing especially when it comes to Bama or UGA

It’s because he wants to believe au beat Bama at their best, that they didn’t gain an advantage playing hurts for 4 q’s.

You guys are totally refusing to see issues with the OL? All those 5 star recruits are blinding you. AU and LSU did not have to run blitz to stop their run. Hurts was the reason most team would not run blitz.

Outside of a fumbled snap, Alabama ran for 6 yards a carry against AU. Harris and Bo went 12 for 97. Congrats, I guess?

Okay. Take out that one drive.

Harris, Bo, and Jacobs had 14 carries for 55 yards (4 ypc).

And if you want to just take out those two long runs (along with Jalen’s fumbled snap and 1 yd run for passing beyond the LOS), Alabama ran for 158 yards on 33 carries.

Not very good for a team that can’t pass. At least GT doesn’t use excuses.

Tech uses it when the run gets shut down, but the triple option is a different animal.
