I agree. Stress affects your focus and attention, which then affects your function. But the stress is self-induced. If you have confidence, then you should not feel any stress (see Joe Montana). Preparing yourself ahead of time gives you the confidence to handle important situations. Most physicians I know are good examples of this. They are very cool and focused in life-threatening situations (at least they better be).

Pretty convinced that’s not happening. This wasn’t a fly ball fluke. This was 3 different players collectively falling apart - back to back to back plays - with 2 outs and the game on the line.

I’ve rarely seen an entire team collectively falling apart apart and fold like that in baseball. Possibly ever.

If you go watch his interview before game 1, it was uncomfortable how nervous he was.

I said this before.

When Arkansas wins it, it will be when you least expect it.

That is why it won't be with Mr. Rogers but a different coach.
