We have fans that have never been in the state of Alabama. That's what happens when you win like we have. Deal with it!!

Why do you care? Every school has many fans that didn’t attend the university. Maybe their parent/sibling/best friend went there, or maybe they live in the area and support the local team. None of it is worth questioning someone’s fandom over.

Excellent post.

And for the OP, as this seems important to him, I went to UF. Would’ve loved to have been able to go to Alabama, but the out of state tuition was ridiculous and I was able to get a great education at Florida.

Been a Bama fan for as long as I can remember, was born there and lived there until I was 8. Going to Florida was not going to change who my favorite team was.

These kinds of threads are started all the time by pompous people who act like attending is the only reason to follow a team.

You're just jealous of Charles' gender studies diploma from LSU.

You'd be on here bragging like hell if you went to places outside of LA and saw LSU gear everywhere. Don't even lie.

I would have deleted instead of editing. I doubt there is any difference between Bama or LSU.

I went to work when I got out of high school.
But my 3 children graduated college.
2 from Montevallo one from the University of Hawaii.
The two who graduated from Montevallo got advanced degrees.
A daughter got her MBA from UA.
A son got his masters in National and International Affairs from University of Pittsburg.
I now have a grandson who started this fall at the University of Alabama

I have been a Bama fan since the second grade. I started going to games in the 60s and saw the 2 games that Bryant lost in Bryant Denny Stadium.
I am lifelong and will be a fan when I assume room temperature.

I’m not a sidewalk fan. But I am a recliner fan.

Sad to think how bandwaggonish the majority is.

I actually think it’s an offense to the alum who earned their fandom.

For a second I thought i stumbled onto a Ga Tech message board. They love that angle.
