Would be a good option but is Georgia going to change the offense for a transfer when they wouldn’t do it for Fields? If Kirby doesn’t change the offense you will end up like Missouri, very disappointed. He should go to Oregon unless they get King .

Didn't even hit 100 yards or get more than 10 completions vs. Clemson or Syracuse.

Yikes.

From had 29 yards passing versus Kentucky. Newman is going to make this offense dynamic. We’ve need dual threat for awhile. Love from but mobile qbs make it soooo much harder in defenses

And Brice is consistently playing with 2nd string OL and 3rd string WRs in most games. Yes it's not a fair comparison, but Newman looked terrible against Clemson.

Against second and third string defenses when the game is out of reach. I don’t remember him doing that well against Syracuse with the first team offense when Lawrence got hurt.

Fields didn’t start for UGA. Why would they change their offense for the backup?

Kinky eh?

Know what else is kinky? Your boy djsdawg is a pain freak. Know how I know? It goes like this:

Big ole L
djsdawg in hell
His hero threw the ball
After the wide receiver fell

He did it in one game, not two.

I also don't think that getting a QB with an all-star offensive line and Swift is going to improve when you lose the OL and Swift and replace the NFL QB with a QB from the ACC who didn't even play anyone.

Dual threat is great when you have an OC who can utilize him as a weapon, but the problem is that dual threats often get hurt at a higher rate than players who aren't.

So basically you're going to change your offense to have a Dual QB who can't use his best weapon because if he's injured you have three QBs who have never played a meaningful snap in college ball behind him.

Coley also isn't an offensive guru.

Oof.

You do realize he lost his 3 top receivers for the back portion of the season and was injured and didn't finish the Syracuse game, right? Good god the hoops you frickers will jump through to try and make a bullshite point better.

Was he injured in the Clemson game, too?

Glad you guys are definitely getting a Championship caliber QB right there.

The hoops you guys will jump through to hype up an okay QB from basically a G5 program.

Straws take off your orange and blue glasses for a minute. Our ol is not dropping down. Salyer, Cleveland and hill are world class linemen. That leaves two spots to fill with young 4 and or 5 stars. Swift did not have a great year because our ol struggled to open holes. They were phenomenal in pass pro, but Fromm couldn’t complete passes... under 50% in final 5 games before sugar bowl. This offense will be better. We only hit 30 TWICE in league play this year

And we’re still going to beat Florida. And it’s still going to be great. Might even run a flea flicker on the first play of the game. Ask Dan about that.

Yikes... that would be embarrassing... except

Highest Total QBR of any SEC Quarterbacks coming back with Dan Mullen as his QB coach.

Coley sure made Fromm look All American this year.

Can't wait to see what he does with the absolute superstar potential of Jamie.

I don't understand why you guys are disagreeing with djs on this.

He's 100% right on the Fromm and Fields situation, and time played out.

Just admit he was right and leave it.

He looked pretty meh against us, and our defense will be even better this year. Mullen's offense has been held under 300 yards 3 times since 2017. Those games were against Kirby's defense. Kirby will continue to own Dopey Dan.

Are Newman a mid-year or summer transfer?

I know Brice is not until summer. That could set you back. It was certainly a factor in some of Burrow's struggles last year.
